Changed…

100_5781This week has been so amazing. Its been humbling and life changing. Not only has it been so awesome to get to know the people of Honduras, but I have enjoyed getting to know our team more as well. I have so many stories. So many experiences that I will never forget. I’m sure you all have heard many from past blogs from everyone. I can’t say enough how thankful I am for this week. God is amazing. He has worked in ways I don’t think any of us could have ever imagined.

Tonight was hard to say goodbye to everyone. I dont want to leave at all! But I know God has taught me so much through this week. And He is going to use us all when we get home. I have been able to share the Gospel more then I ever have done in a very long time. Out of the MANY things that I have learned this week, I know that I need to be more passionate about bringing others to Christ in my own mission field!

See you all soon!

Not Ready To Leave

Today is our last  day. I can’t believe that we are leaving tomorow. This week has gone by way too fast. God has done so many amazing things in all of our lives. I’m not ready to leave. But I’m so excited to see how God is going to use us when we get back home.

Today is the youth rally. We’re all missing you Joey! We’ve been praying for you. See you soon!

We’re getting ready to do devotion. Pray for that God can continue to shine through us. Miss you all.

Day 4 already???

Wow! God has done so many amazing things so far. And I cannot believe we’re already 4 days in. It is all passing by too fast! There is so much that I have already experienced God do in the lives of the people in Honduras and in mine. Way too much to share! We have already experienced 66 salvations in only 5 hours of door-to-door evangelism!!!! I’ve been in the most humbling worship services. I’ve seen 8 people baptized in one service. Been a part of a church’s Communion. And attempted to speak some Spanish!

Beautiful CountryI could go on and on, but one simple thing that has stuck out to me is how beautiful God’s creation is here. The mountains here are simply breathtaking. And in actuality, the creation and scenery in our own hometowns are just as beautiful. But how often do we actually take the time to enjoy God’s creation and worship Him through it? I took this picture from a bell tower we were able to climb. In these moments I feel so small in God’s presence. His power amazes me.

God is moving so much. I don’t want the trip to pass by too fast, but I cannot wait to see what God is going to do tomorrow!

Send Me Out

Wow! We’re less then 4 days out until we leave for Honduras! And can I say I am MORE then excited to leave. God has placed such a passion for foreign missions in my heart and has provided in so many ways for me to go to Honduras this year. I cannot thank Him enough for this amazing opportunity. I am so excited to see how God is going to work through our team going!

As I’ve been in prayer and the Word this week before we leave, there is one song I have been listening to constantly. Send Me Out, by Steve Fee. My favorite part of the song says:

Here am I. I will go. Send me out to make You known. There is hope for every soul. Send me out, Send me Out.

This has been my prayer for the last couple of weeks and for the days we get to spend in Honduras. Its what I am asking God to have our mind set on, as we are serving Him and letting Him use us in everyway. God is going to do amazing things. He already has in getting us ready to leave!

So here am I…I will go…Send me out to make Him known.
