Less than 2 Weeks…

WIth less than 2 weeks to go, we are all getting excited about our Mission Trip to Honduras.  I cannot wait to be there and share the gospel and God’s love with the people in Comayagua.  My prayer has been that as God is preparing each of our hearts that he is also preparing the hearts of those we will encounter.

The trip to Honduras is only 9 days away and I can’t wait to go there. This will be my first trip out of the country and it will also be the most eye opening experience that I will have ever had. I hope everyone else ont he team is as exited about this trip as I am because this will be a great way to share Jesus Christ with people who do not know Him.

Will Blog more during the trip,

I think I said earlier that I was going to post the video that the kids made of their drama that we showed at the Dessert Theatre but I did not link it anywher until now. I will say that this is the full video so if you have a slower connections speed it may be choppy so you may want to right click and download it first before watching it. I will try to shrink it at a later time.

New Year/New Hope

2009 had many ups and downs for me.  As I move forward into 2010 and prepare myself mentally for things to come I get very excited at whats ahead.   This trip to Honduras will be an eye opening experience.  I am really excited to see how God is going to work in the natives lives and our own.  While Erin and I are gone on this trip I want you to pray for our team and pray for the Hondurians.   I pray that 2010 will bring new hope to the people who live within the community we are visiting and to myself.

Ready to start the New Year… then head to Honduras!!

Today is New Years Eve and its always fun to look back and reflect on the current year and see what all God has done in our lives but it is also fun to look ahead and start new things and see what we can improve on in the new year.  One thing that we are super excited about is going to Honduras on a mission trip, what better way to start the New Year!!  God has greatly helped us into making this possible, when we first prayed about going on this trip we thought how can we afford it, but God answered our prayers and thankfully all of our funds has come in above and beyond!!  God is so good!  So in your celebration of the New Year, while you are reflecting back on 2009 also ask God what he has in store for you for 2010!!
