Hullo from Glasgow, Scotland! Our three weeks in the Western Isles of Scotland has been both challenging and rewarding. God is gracious and provided us with many opportunities to speak with the Gaelic Scots throughout our time there. The people there are so friendly, but don’t see their need for God and the church. Pray that the seeds we planted will be grown until they come into a relationship with Christ. I’m looking forward to meeting up with everyone and joining in on what God is going to do in Romania this summer. Only a week or so left!
Counting Down – 16 days
We are counting down to the boarding the planes and buses to Baia Mare. The schedules are coming together even though we have been told time and again that “PLANS CHANGE!!!” I have about a week to get myself prepared due to going to camp in Illinois, so I am trying to get everything done in this next week in preparation for the trip. It amazes me that even though I feel completely unprepared for this trip, I am not afraid or anxious because I know that God has the plans already worked out and that his words will be the only ones spoken to the people while we are there.
Please pray for us as we prepare for the trip beginning the 19th.

One Month and Counting
In one month we will be ariving in Baia Marre and time seems to be flying by. I am ready but at the same time am not. Either way, ready or not here we go.
We will be blogging here and I will be linking this to the kingsbaptist.net website for easier acces.
Continue to pray for the team and especially for Cathy who is already on the field in the UK. She will be meeting us in Budapest, Hungary.
More about the trip will follow.
2 Months and 1 Week
It amazes me that we are only 2 months and 1 week away from flying out to Romania. The speed at which this trip is progressing in mind-boggling, but I know that God is in it and we will will be blessed. The frustration is setting in for some of us; there is much to plan and little time for planning, but God is putting the right people in place to help us. We ask that you pray for us, pray for the trip, and pray for the people to who we are going to proclaim the gospel.
2 Trips in a Year
This spring has been interesting. I was recently told by the pastor that he is planning a trip to Romania this Summer. He also told me that he would like Amy and I to be a part of that trip. This took me off guard seeing that we planned for over a year for the Honduras trip. I was excited, but I was also concerned about how we were going to come up with the money to go. Well God took care of our fears for that and I know that Amy and I are going and I look forward to seeing who God will call to this trip. I saw many hearts broken and lives changed since our return from Honduras in January. Lord willing many more will come to know that our mission field is broad and there is so much more to be done. Be praying for us and Pastor Keith and all whose hearts are about to be broken for the people of Romania as God builds his team to go.
Pictures Galore!
I have finally posted all of the pictures. It took me a while to figure out how to embed them into the webpage, but I found a cool gallery code that works great. You can either navigate to the 4HisService.com Family Pages o see the links to the Right for the different galleries. I am still working on the videos and will post them as soon as I figure it out.
After the Trip
It has been a few weeks since we were in country and honestly it is a little surreal to be back in the swing of the normal grind of work. I know Amy and Isaiah are ready to go back now and I am not sure if I don’t agree with them.
It is cool to see the change in the lives of the people on the team. Of course this is the main point of a short term mission trip. It is my prayer that they all will have found a new passion for serving the ministry of Christ. Lord willing, Amy is meeting with the ladies of the group and I will also try to meet with the men of the group in order to just see where each of them are spiritually after the trip. I have found that any time you go on one of these trips and God allows you to witness a great harvest there is such a high that accompanies it that when you come home it is almost a little depressing. I love the passion of the people of Honduras as they worship God and I also envy that passion for our people here, but for now I crave to maintain that passion in our own lives.

Another Amazing day from Our Even More Amazing God
With this being the last day I really tried to soak in everything. Our overall team saw 33 salvations and then this afternoon there were 12 at the Youth Rally bringing the week’s total to 188. The Youth Rally ended up being younger kids, about 110. Isaiah gave his testimony for the first time and let 12 kids to Christ at the end. God is doing amazing work through Isaiah. The kids are great to be with, even with a language barrier I was able to sit and color with them for almost one hour and we had a blast. I really feel drawn to the people in Honduras. I know Isaiah and Rich are too. So now we are praying and asking God to show us his will for our future and whether it includes Honduras. I think all three of us can see us living here and serving God everyday. I am sadden about leaving tomorrow, but am very thankful God provided our way to come here for a second time. Today we met a little boy, about 24 months, who is HIV positive. His parents no longer care for him so he is being taken care of by another little girl who is about 5. I could not believe this. They are part of Compassion International, so they are getting support. But who could do this. I just wanted to take him home with us and love and care for him. For now we can pray for him. Well, I need to go pack and get some sleep. Breakfast is at 6:30 and we leave for the airport by 8am. Thank you all for following our teams blog. I hope you have enjoyed our posts and have been able to see how God works in so many different ways through ordinary people like us. I also hopes this has encouraged you to live your life for Christ, build a relationship with Him and serve Him as He calls you to do so in Matthew 28:19-20, but remember it is As you Go so that means in your daily routine you should be sharing Christ with those you encounter and you do not have to go to a foreign country to follow Christ’s direction.
God Bless,
Amy
People of KY
I’m coming home!!!! I’m excited to leave Honduras. Although, I do like it down here and I could see me and Erin living her and sharing the Gospel daily. It’s time to go back home! We have people in our own community that need to hear about how great and awesome our God is! Many times when you come back from a place where your soul purpose is to only focus on Christ, you fall away from sharing at home. I want to be fully committed to sharing the Gospel to our friends in family in MW.
Wes talked tonight about how he wants to go home and reach the people in MW as well. Maybe us two and other memebers of Kings can come together and be willing to go out (not just on GROW night) and tell people about God’s love for them. We’ll even put together a new team called “Share the Gospel to the world!” Wanna join? Just talk to me and Wes.
We’ll see you all Sunday!
Love your brother in Christ
ADAM
PS: Can anyone tell me and Wes how our Kings teams did in the basketball league tonight? Thanks!
I’m not comming home
Today was another amazing day. This morning I went out with Rich and Isiah door to door. We had 3 salvations but we were able to encourage a few fellow believers. I’ve been nervous all week when we were going door to door but each time God has been with me and I have overcome my fears. This afternoon we did a youth rally we had a large group of kids that we were not only able to play games with and sing songs with but we were able to share the Gospel and show Gods love to each of them. the memories that Adam and I have of Honduras will never be lost yet we do not want to leave. I love my family and I love my job but I also love this place. It would not take much for me to move here. (sorry mom). the people here are very welcoming and loving. It makes you realize that in the states we get so caught up in our daily lives that we forget what our true focus is. we forget that God is the reason that we are here and we should do everything to glorify God. I will truely miss all of the people that we have meet. we have had four translators that we have not only shared the gospel with but we have also shared our lives with each other. I glad to be comming home but I am very sad to be leaving.
love all of you!! thank you for all of your encouraging words and for supporting us all the way. GOD BLESS!! ERIN
